Alayna Coverly is an artist working figuratively with oil paint while living in Brooklyn, NY. She has her BFA in Painting and Drawing from Ohio University, and recently graduated with an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art this past spring. Alayna is currently producing vibrant work that focuses on the complex, intimate relationships between loved ones who face physical and mental health challenges due to the lasting effects of violence against women. She is particularly invested in the healing process through personal connection and the embrace of community.
